Hospitals in India generate significant toxic medical waste that requires incineration, leading to substantial waste heat release.

This project, funded by the governments of India and Sweden, focuses on capturing and transforming this waste heat into power, heating, and cooling. A pilot project at Biotec's facility in Delhi will pave the way for similar installations across India, tapping into a market potential of 250 units, while addressing urban heat challenges.
